Our Story

FRAMEN's story began in 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany, with a vision shared by Alexander Gärtner, Dimitri Gärtner, Magdalena Pusch, and Sveatoslav Podobinschi to change how digital content is consumed. From a successful Kickstarter campaign for a digital frame, our journey quickly shifted gears. Realizing the potential of the digital landscape, we transitioned from hardware to becoming a leading startup in the digital out-of-home advertising platform sector.

We soon outgrew our Frankfurt beginnings, moving our headquarters to Berlin's innovative hub. Our expansion didn't stop within Germany's borders; offices in Paris and London opened, marking FRAMEN's growing European presence. Our team is as international as our footprint, with a wealth of cultural backgrounds and skills pushing us forward.

2020 marked a milestone when media powerhouse Axel Springer invested, cementing our position in the industry and giving us a broader platform for growth. Now, FRAMEN is more than a company; it's a collective endeavor and a diverse family, thriving on continuous innovation, dedication, and the shared experiences that define our past and shape our future.
